Terms of Service

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. Users in jurisdictions with a higher digital-consent age must meet that age.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per person. Selling, sharing, or transferring access to another individual is prohibited.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Redistribute paid content (workshops, drills, recordings) outside the platform.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise circumvent access controls.
• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
• Use the platform to harass other members.
• Run bots, mass-scrape, or load-test our services without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Subscriptions and payment

• Academy access is sold via the GitGud Racing storefront at gitgudracing.com. Payments are processed by the storefront's chosen processor; we do not handle card data directly.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel any time before the next billing date through the storefront.
• If your subscription lapses, your account remains in place at the Community tier; Academy-only content is locked until you resubscribe and re-redeem your access code.
• Refunds are evaluated case by case; see the storefront's refund policy for details.

Content and intellectual property

Workshops, drills, lap-review videos, and other coaching material are owned by GitGud Racing or its contributors and are licensed to subscribers for personal, non-commercial use during the term of their subscription. You may not republish, resell, or use this content as input to train machine-learning models.

When you submit a lap for review, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, transcode, and present the recording back to you and the assigned coach. We will not use your laps as marketing material without your explicit consent.

Warranty disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result (lap-time improvement, race result) will follow from using it. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer in your jurisdiction.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms. On termination your access ends immediately; subscription fees for the current period are not refunded except where required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without reference to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of Bucharest, Romania, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we'll update the "last updated" date and notify active users of material changes by email. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
